About Bartlett, TN - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!
Bartlett is a Shelby County, Tennessee city located within the Memphis metro area. As of 2011, the population was over 55,000. This community was first known as Union Depot and Green Bottom, and it served as the final major station in the state along the old stagecoach route traveling westward from Memphis. Previously part of the Shelby County School District, the city passed a referendum in July 2013 to form its own Bartlett City School District. The community currently consists of 23.42 square miles of total area, and the city’s annexation reserves extend out another 20 miles.
In addition to big-name retailers like Dollar Tree, Kroger, and Walgreens, there are also a variety of small specialty shops in Bartlett that are unique to this area. Amit’s Hallmark and the Antique Gallery are great places to get a gift for a loved one or something special for yourself. CATO Fashions has unique clothing items that you won’t find at larger stores. If you need some home decorating ideas, you can get assistance at LDH Gifts and Décor and Bartlett Home Furnishings.
Shopping isn’t the only thing to do when visiting Bartlett. Golf enthusiasts often take advantage of the warmer climate to play a round at the Quail Ridge Golf Course. Movie fans can check out a flick at Hollywood 20 Cinemas or the Bartlett Cinema Ten, and visitors often enjoy a walking tour at Davies Manor Plantation.
In terms of climate, Bartlett and the rest of the region is known for having four distinctly different seasons. While winter months are typically cool or mild, cold fronts roll into the area and bring snow with them. During these times, a heat pump or furnace will be needed to keep area homes comfortable. The weather will change dramatically when summer rolls around, and conditions then become hot, sticky, and very humid, requiring the use of an efficient air conditioner in order to stay cool.
